So how did it all start?
Well, we were just three dancers dancing away to our own tunes. We trained in the same dance class, under Guru Dr. Mrs. Swati Daithankar, a renowned exponent of Bharatnatyam. But our paths didn't really cross till we started performing on stage with our Guru.
There is something different and beautiful about performing together. It's not just dance that you do together - you end up spending hours rehearsing, learning, and getting ready! The three of us did many shows together and ended up becoming friends. We were united by one main purpose - we were all passionate about dancing and wanted to broaden our horizons by continuously evolving and doing new things.
That is how Tridha came into existence. We three hope to better ourselves as dancers, but also spread the wonder and beauty of dance to everyone else. Through our projects and videos, we hope to spread the love for Indian classical dance far and wide!
